Access to safe abortions is healthcare. 

I am proud to be a pro-choice candidate.

Reproductive rights are under attack in the U.S., and without the protection of Roe v. Wade, access to safe abortion is under threat. We cannot allow access to medical care to be stripped away state by state, which is why I will vote to create a federal law protecting abortion care for every person who needs it.

In the most vulnerable moments of someone’s life, it is important we guarantee them respect and dignity. I will work to prevent the harassment and intimidation of patients, providers, and staff at reproductive health care facilities.

I believe that private and public insurance must cover abortion and all forms of birth control.

I also believe that we must work to reduce the economic hardships that often come with having a child, through resources like affordable healthcare and paid family leave.
